Pay Per Click Management
Pay Per Click – the most powerful form of advertising ever invented but, be careful, it can bite…
We’ve managed over £2 million on pay per click advertising since 2003. It is still the most effective form of marketing ever invented and you need to get it right, even if you’ve had your fingers burnt in the past.
We concentrate on Google (because that’s where all the traffic is), but we are also experienced at creating and managing PPC campaigns on Bing and Facebook.
Google Adwords Management
Getting back to the Big G: it’s all about message to market.
You need Ad Groups that target specific keywords, that show adverts that target these keywords that go to landing pages that target these specific keywords.
You then need to make sure your landing pages are optimised to perform for you (we can do this for you or show you how to do it, or both!).

You then need to ensure you are testing your ad copy consistently to maximize your CTR.

You then need to make sure you’re taking advantage of the cheap clicks available from the remarketing and video remarketing systems.
You then need to ensure your campaigns are optimized for different devices (laptops, mobiles, tablets) because they all have different conversion characteristics.
You then need to ensure you’re checking your costs per conversion based on time of day and day in the week.
You then need to be feeding new keywords found from the Dimensions tab back into your campaign.
You need to make sure that you treat your adwords account as your marketing laboratory – everything you learn from PPC should be fed into your SEO and social marketing efforts.
Sounds like a lot of work?
That’s why one of the best investment decisions you will ever make is to choose Attwood Digital to manage your PPC campaigns.
Bing PPC Advertising Management
Bing and Yahoo joined up a while back. Their advertising platform is what started this whole PPC thing in the late 90s. Problem is: it’s not as smart as Google and there’s much less traffic here.
The good news is that Bing can be a great place to vacuum up some cheaper leads and sales once you’ve got the Google Adwords nailed.
We always recommend having a Bing campaign up and running to help reduce your overall customer acquisition cost and to make sure you’ve not got all your eggs in one basket.
Facebook Advertising Management
We’ve been running Facebook marketing campaigns since they began in 2007. In fact, they even sent us a T-shirt for getting the highest Click-Thru-Rate they’d seen (100% CTR).
Which is not bad considering the average CTR on Facebook is 0.04%.
Here’s a summary of one of our Facebook ad accounts:
Here is an example of how Facebook ads look when you log in to your account:
Don’t get confused between Facebook pages and Facebook ads. The ads are a great way of building a list of people that have an interest in what you sell for very low cost.
For example, you can target people based on their age, their geographic location, their sex, marital status, occupation, interests – it really is a great way of targeting people.
BUT – the one big problem with advertising on Facebook is that is that it is a communication medium, not a search medium.
This is a subtle, yet profound difference in doing PPC advertising on Google, where people are actively searching for stuff.
It’s the same reason why advertising to people on their mobile phones has never worked – it annoys people.
So, you’ve got to take a whole different approach when advertising stuff on Facebook.
We can help you do this successfully.
