Hey Mark,
To answer your question, absolutely yes to both. I have been chocablock with a short film I am producing so haven’t had a chance to leave feedback. And, yes would love to see the adwords seminar(will that be a video?) as I couldn’t make that one.
Thanks

Thanks Scott. The adwords seminar is just sound I’m afraid – it was a free seminar so there was no budget for full-on video. I’ll work on getting it in here in the next update.
Let us know if any of us can be of any assistance with the short film – I’m looking at a script for one right now actually.

Thanks for the offer of help. Likewise, if there’s anything I can do to help you, let me know. I hear there are good funding schemes in your neck of the woods.

Hi Mark, Yes to both questions though I have paid £99 for the DVD of the blogging seminar. How does Typepad compare with WordPress? Is it worth tranferring the blog from Typepad to WordPress see my blog http://www.theovencleaningbusiness.com which is on a Typepad platform, or maybe making my blog more focused. It hasn’t got a PR rank yet as I only put the domain name onto it in December. Graham

Hi Graham
Put it this way – I started business blogging on Moveable Type back in 2005 and recently completed the large scale transfer of all of our blogs to WordPress. The reasons?
1. Our experience of the reliability of wordpress over MT were far better
2. The SEO performance of our wordpress blogs was far better than the MT blogs
3. The range of plugins available and the adaptability of WP over MT were manifold.
It’s your decision in the end. MT is a very good platform, we just feel convinced WP is better.
Bear these points in mind:
1. Transferring content from MT to WP is easy when you know how. Let us know if you need help doing this.
2. An original design as opposed to a them is far better for SEO.

Yes an orginal design would be great, I did have my own header but it got lost when I changed to a different theme. Tell Paul Avins he needs to do the same with his blog! I’ll email you directly. I’m really pleased as I got the Art of Blogging DVDs today, so thanks for that, so will now spend the next week of evenings watching them. Don’t think they’ll beat watching all 5 seasons of ‘The Wire’ though. Graham
