Blog Seminar in Cheshire

It’s the day after “The Art of Blogging for Business” seminar. What a day!
I’m thoroughly exhausted and elated at the same time. Fantastic crowd, and great contributions from Ken McCarthy, Mike Mindel, Ben Hunt and Lloyd Irvin (thanks everyone!).
I’ll be updating this post with details on how to gt your hands on the DVD of the event soon. Right now, I’m off for a kip 🙂

  4. Thanks Mark, it was a great day – and I’m sure will prove valuable for everyone who was there. My to-do list is long but totally actionable, and I really do now ‘get it’!

  6. I looked in to Ken’s youtube script that stopped the video from linking after it is played.
It indeed does not work when used in wordpress, but if you paste in the unencrypted version of his script it does work.
email me if you want to know, 1. how to get the unencrypted version (its easy) 2. why is it encrypted?

  7. by the way I think the reason that it does not work is that wordpress does not allow any script tags to be in the post.
it does allow object tags (which is what youtube embed code is)

  11. interesting reference to the blog o sphere, on to days lunchtime news,
The item was about Northern Rock and bonus’s…Were ‘assured’ so they say, the interests of the taxapayer, oh such a lovely turn of phrase… will be “taken into consideration”.
I was reading a book yesterday about internet security, which recommended,”healthy cynicism”, is certainly a necessicity with the City Blags about about bonus kulture, its essential:for business survival. Its a necessary requirement,to avoid going to the wall,in Wall street or the High Street, or any street.
    What say you Myrvin King?
Seems ‘Safe as the Bank of England’ has found a whole new meaning! with Dubiahs and Dubia, caveat emptor and caveat vendi apply, its intellegent business to too.
And, looking back on the current situation with the benefit of the hind sight of history some fifty years hence, will give a very different prespective, but by then for some; it may well be too late. They will have met the wall, and gone through it, to bankruptsy.Whether on Wall street or not,by then, it will be well too late….all the more reason with Christmas coming,to consider futures now,and options which do avail, blogging for results, and bettering current circumstances. One step at a time, for the best of monetarising.
