Drayton Bird's Commonsense Direct and Digital Marketing

I first met Drayton Bird in October 2008. I have to admit that I didn’t really know much of his work at the time (you can’t know everything!), but I found him to be one of the most engaging, brilliant and fascinating speakers.
Most of you will know that I rate him massively, and that he is a true legend in the direct marketing industry.
At 76, he is still full of massive energy, turning his hand to all things internet in recent months.
Don’t just take my word for it: this is what David Ogilvy said about Drayton, “Drayton Bird knows more about direct marketing than anyone else in the world”. As you know the internet is a direct response medium – so do you think you should get Drayton’s books? Hell yes.
I cannot recommend you read his work enough. Start with this one (and get “How to Write Sales Letters that Sell” while you’re at it):
