Golden Rules for the Meta Title attribute.

  1. No more than 65 characters long
  2. Must include at least one keyword
  3. It must make sense to the visitor
  4. It should contain your branding

Golden Rules Of The Meta Description:

  1. No more than 150 characters long
  2. Must include at least one keyword, preferably two
  3. Must not include any phone numbers – you lose the opportunity for your web page to pre-qualify leads if you do
  4. It must make sense to the visitor
  5. It should include a call to action< like "Click here"/li>
