My Favourite Twitter Apps

For the laptop I love two twitter apps:
Tweetdeck – this one helps organise your tweets into friends, replies and direct messages.
Twirl – I like this one because of the small space it takes on your desktop.
For the iPhone, I love Twitterlator and Twinkle. Liking Twinkle is a bit like saying you support Manchester United (i.e most purists will hate you) in Internet Marketing Circles. I admit, it’s not the best app, but it was the first one I installed and I suppose that’s like a lot of software – you never forget your first love.
I was recently on holiday in France and found myself doing internet marketing on my iPhone whilst sat in the most beautiful surroundings. It annoyed my family a bit, but building up you twitter following whilst tucking into Margeaux and frog’s legs and concass de tomate in the sunshine can’t be beat! If you’ve not got an iPhone, I have two words of advice for you: Get One.

  1. Hi Mark
Definitely agree on Tweet Deck and Twirl.
Also agree with your thoughts on iPhone in general but very much disagree about Twinkle! It was also my first iPhone Twitter app but I had no room for sentiments when I tried Tweetie, you should definitely check it out if you haven’t tried it! It does everything Twinkle does plus a whole lot more and it looks cooler too, which us shallow iPhone users seem to care so much about 😉
